Cut & Fill Analysis
We provide more time for contractors to do their due diligence during the bidding process.
Cut and fill analyses, or Quantity takeoffs, are essential for contractors and project managers to estimate the amount of material they need to bring in or out of the job site.
Volume calculations play a pivotal role in Earthwork Estimating. Our cut and fill analyses Bid Quantity Services are a great tool to assist our clients with making an informative bid because they have all the quantities associated with the project. They also aid in balance engineering. A site balancing analysis allows contractors to add, move, or remove only the material needed, saving time and money. Throughout the project, our analyses can monitor progress and establish values over what is expected, allowing contractors to gain additional billable hours or pay reconciliations.
How much does a Quantity Takeoff cost?
It all depends on the size and complexity of the project. If it’s smaller in scale than the dirt quantity reports will cost a couple hundred dollars in comparison to a larger project that cost a couple thousand. Once you send us the CAD and PDF files, we check to see if there is any missing information before producing excavation quantity calculations. After completion, we will then forward the construction quantity reports which will detail the volumes and areas for the dirt, asphalt, gravel, and other materials.
We use the most advanced construction takeoffs software to establish your material quantities accurately. Our engineers can quickly produce precise and accurate Earthwork takeoffs so that you don’t have to, giving you more time to focus on your bid and managing your construction projects.
