Reduction of Job Openings in 2025

Job openings in the construction industry decreased significantly in 2025. Contractors take a more cautious approach to hiring in 2025 due to the uncertainty of the upcoming tariffs. Although the demand for laborers remains the amount of roles open has dropped 42% in comparison to the amount recorded last year. On the bright side the number of layoffs has also decreased in 2025.
